Party in the MSC
For nearly 70 years, MSC Town Hall has brought entertainment and inclusivity to Aggieland by using the power of live entertainment to bring the community together.
Every organization has had to adjust during the COVID-19 pandemic and MSC Town Hall is no exception. Despite the limitations of social distancing and occupancy limitations, MSC Town Hall was hard at work creating safe events for both virtual and live audiences. Before the pandemic, you’d regularly walk into the MSC and be greeted with tunes and jams from MSC Town Hall’s series Coffeehouse featuring live music accompanied by fresh, hot coffee. To keep providing music and entertainment during the pandemic, MSC Town Hall began to livestream performances through Facebook and Instagram Live.
MSC Town Hall’s commitment to their purpose served as a huge driving force in their continued efforts to bring live music to campus. They started off this unique and difficult year with a virtual concert from the Juicy Tuesdays, live at the Forum. In October, Town Hall hosted their annual Rocktober Fest, where people were able to carve pumpkins while enjoying a live performance from the Nomads in Kyle Field Plaza. Finally, their spring line-up included their bi-weekly Coffeehouse Series and DRAGgieland. MSC Town Hall has not let the pandemic stop them from bringing entertainment and inclusivity to campus.
